Go for blue or seagate barracuda's. Blacks are overpriced.

I went a blue cause the blacks are over priced and I heard they can be quite noisy

Blue and Black are both the same speed from the spec sheet.  Both are 7200rpm both can have to 64MBs of cache and the only difference is that Black has a 5 year warranty versus the blue having a 2 year Which doesn't mean the blue will fail before the black though.   I would advise getting a Seagate Barracuda, as its cheaper and sometimes faster.

EDIT: If your looking for a drive that will be very fast while also being cheap I would advise getting a Seagate Hybrid Drive as its an SSD and a Hard Drive in one.

Black is faster, has a longer warranty. The blue is a little slower, lower warranty.

The speed isn't a huge difference.

Are you using it as a boot drive or for storage?

There is a WD black dual drive.  Which is an SSD and a Hard drive in one however they are both separate storage.  So its just like having an SSD and a second hard drive.

Blues are known to be loud, they are the loudest part in any of my pcs

Maybe it's just you or your drive. I haven't dealt with any loud Blues before. Blacks however can be a bit loud and are louder than Blues.
