What Die does vengeance LPX usually have?

As the title suggested. Want to see if i can get tighter timings on my ram (Vengeance LPX 2*8 3200mhz) and DRAM calc asks for what die my ram is.

Couldnt find a definitive anser myself so hence asking here.

They can vary depending on the spec of the module.

 

One way to tell what chips you have is to try Thaiphoon Burner. http://www.softnology.biz/files.html

 

I think Aida64 might also be able to report it, but not 100% sure here.

Everything. The only brand that sticks to one type of die is Crucial, because Micron's its daddy

 

Unless the timings is 14-14-14-34. In this case it will be Samsung B-die.

extracted the files, but no matter what I try it just wont open the programm. No background processes starting up - Ill see if Aida64 does work

I've seen it once where anti-virus silently blocks the file, presumably as it doesn't like software potentially capable of low level access.

Yeah that window came up from windows too, I allowed it, gave it UAC permission etc

 

I assume where it says 'manufacturer' here is where I could of found what die or do i need to look elsewhere within Aida64?

 

EDIT: so found a field where it says SK Hynix, now to find which exact one

I have the LPX 3000CL15 kit, which is SK Hynix as well. My kit responds very poorly to tight timings but does OC okay-ish at CL15.
