it says im getting 9.5 download speed in task manager but i cannot download games on steam and get more than 1 download. ive already tried going into steams settings and putting no limit on the download please reply if u can help me

What is your connection suppose to be. What you pay for.

Did you do a speed test. If not you should do the test , only to see if it's your system or your ISP.

 

I have a 50Mb and Steam is very slow even with a good connection

Windows Taskmanager (and Speedtest.net for that matter) report speeds in Mb, which stands for Megabit. Steam reports speeds in MB, which stands for Megabyte.

1 byte consists of 8 bits, so 1MB = 8Mb, or in your case it's 1.somethingMB = 9Mb.

The speeds you're getting between the test and download line up, it's just a different way of representing the numbers.

 

The numbers you're seeing are correct likely, because of that capitalized or small 'b'-letter

yeah sometime steam like cutting off the speed tho tbh. i mean most of launcher like that probably. like my shit origin.
