WHAT DO? new gaming pc

ok so i have around $500 and a pc with an i5 6500, gtx 1060 6gb, 16gb ram, 1tb hdd, 128gb ssd, etc. I was looking to upgrade because I'm experiencing bottlenecking and lag in several games. I was going to buy a ryzen 2600 and a new motherboard but i was just offered $550 for my pc all together. So I'm trying to decide wether I should sell my whole pc and combine it with the $500 i already have and build a new one for around $1000 or just upgrade like I was going to do originally. Pls help

Sell your existing CPU, MOBO and GPU for around $200-250 and purchase something like this...

To put all that on a b450 that weak is not so smart esp not when ocing. Alao why not the pro 4? Thats a more devent board. 2600 be good too price wise. I like your pick better than the OP's. People r are not aware of ryzen yet.

B450m/ac supports zen2 CPUs on all of its BIOS revisions. It avoids the hassle of updating the BIOS. As lots of newcomers are not familiar with upgrading the bios. Also, it's a decent board for the price and comes with onboard wifi.

Or else msi b450 pro A/gaming plus/tomahawk (Max) are always an option.

that's more or less just a pro4 with wifi.
