Did I clean my PC in to hot of an area?

MrMarsMonkey

Hey. So I just cleaned my PC for the first.(As in it was my first time ever cleaning a PC.) I finished up, and I don’t think I did too bad. But when I opened up NZXT CAM, it was reading around 45

Degrees Celsius (113 Fahrenheit). I was slightly worried but then realized that was about the temperate outside in my back yard, which is where I cleaned my PC. I’m just wondering if there is anything to worry about. Thanks!

Edit: I let it sit in front of a fan for a few minutes and I am still experiencing higher temperatures

Nothing at all out of the ordinary there. Probably just the water in your AIO cooler getting warmer from the sun outside. If you give it 24 hours or so, it should even out to what your room is.

I don’t have a water cooler.

Well that's awkward.

Since you were using NZXT CAM, I assumed you were using an NZXT AIO cooler.

Still the same thing applies. If the case was out in the sun for a while, a lot of the metals inside will hold that ambiant heat. So it will take a while to adjust. Nothing to worry about though. :)

Run stress tests. Idle or low load temps are so much influenced by what you have running.

Did you take the cooler off while cleaning?  Perhaps it's not reinstalled a securely as it was prior to cleaning.

Check load temps first to see if you really have any issues.

Be sure to QUOTE or TAG me in your reply so I see it!
