M.2 SATA SSD in M-key socket

I know this might be a silly question, but just to be sure:  I plan to buy an M.2 SATA SSD and it has the M+B type key.  The motherboard says it accepts M-key, but does that mean it also accepts the M+B type? Just checking! Thanks!
