I use Beyond Compare on Windows and the built-in diff on Unix, BSD and Linux.

I love the syntax highlight style of WinMerge. But CompareIt is great too. CompareIt works better if you are comparing HEX code files.

The damn marketing text on the website claiming that they spend a lot of time ensuring the products are counted as some of the best in the world has bad grammar errors in it, how the hell could I trust software to work when 100 professionals "making efforts" can't even get a simple sentence correct?

 

I get that English is not this companies staffs first language, but why would I trust software from a company too cheap to employ a proper translation service? especially when I am using it with my source code!
