Asus Rog Z390 E mobo cant detect ethernet

huhuhahaTi

I already finished updating my armory crate and after restarting my pc, my motherboard still wont detect my ethernet. I'm still using wifi until now

Make sure the drivers for your ethernet card / onboard chip are installed

 

I think this is the one : https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/04LAN/LAN_DRV_Intel_I219_UWD_TP_W10_64_VER121897_20190628R.zip

 

From : https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z390-E-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/ ( then click drivers, select windows 10 64bit, scroll down to LAN)

As @mariushm posted make sure to get the drivers off the motherboards page on the asus website. Armory crate is nice but from my own experience with it it's better to get drivers and bios updates directly from the motherboard support/download page.

i removed armory crate and followed your steps and it worked! thanks man! just follow up question, should i download all those drivers and tools to get a better performance?

Don't download everything, you don't need the Qualified vendor list or Utilities, only Utilities app you'll want is the aura sync app. Also make sure you update the bios to the newest available version.

another question, i just downloaded my aurasync but my motherboard and id liquid cooling color wont sync with my other components(ram,gpu,rgb fans)
