Yeah, that's why you don't use windows task manager when overclocking a CPU.

 

A clean install will fix it.

 

It's just windows.

turned my pc on for the first time in about a month, updated windows, all good... went into task manager.... pooof, ultra clock speeds! went into bios, same thing, 30+ ghz clock speeds. updated bios, same thing. flashed bios, nothing changed... all bios settings are the same as earlier with all cores set to 4.9 Ghz at 1.295 v. so now i wonder, what the heck happened in that one month of not being powered?
