most likely eMMC, non removable, not able to increase it

Also ... it's an unknown brand .. at least here in Europe never heard of EMATIC

Why not look what's on sale on Amazon or newegg?

What's your budget and what's more important to you?

Budget about 300 USD just looking for a simple laptop for home use

My advice would be to make an effort and go up to around 400$, you get way more value for the money :

ex :

386$ : ASUS VivoBook AMD A9-9425 Dual Core Processor (Boost up to 3.7 GHz) with Radeon R5 Graphics, 8 GB DDR4 RAM, 256 GB SSD, 14" FHD Display Windows 10

https://www.newegg.com/chocolate-black-gold-asus-vivobook-f441ba-ds95-mainstream/p/N82E16834234998?Item=N82E16834234998

same model on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/VivoBook-Powerful-Processor-Graphics-F441BA-DS95/dp/B07FGXD5BT

You get a proper 14" 1080p screen, you get 8 GB of memory and 256 GB SSD and Windows 10 - can actually use regular applications ... you have 1080p screen to actually watch HD movies on etc etc ... if you need more you can probably open it up and replace the SSD (not sure it's possible but most likely it's a m.2 sata ssd inside or regular sata ssd)

You even have VGA and HDMI out - so you could use a HDMI cable to connect the thing to your TV and watch a movie.

No need to deal with the Android and Chromebook hassles and lack of storage... and you can always use regular usb sticks in it to increase capacity and all that...

Reviews complain about small battery life, like 3-6h max ... up to you if that's a deal breaker.

Even better deal would be :

427$ Lenovo Laptop ThinkPad V330-14ARR 81B1001FUS AMD Ryzen 3 2200U (2.50 GHz) 4 GB Memory 500 GB HDD AMD Radeon Vega 3 14.0" Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

https://www.newegg.com/iron-gray-lenovo-thinkpad-v330-14arr-81b1001fus-mainstream/p/2WC-000J-00762?Item=2WC-000J-00762

powerful processor (quad core), good integrated graphics..

really recommended to add 4 GB or 8 GB more into it (possible to upgrade it at any time, super easy to install extra ram stick)

optionally replace the mechanical 500 gb hdd with a 20-30$ ssd when you have the money.

Here's another great deal on Amazon : https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Display-Graphics-Keyboard-A515-43-R19L/dp/B07RF1XD36

310$

Acer Aspire 5 Slim Laptop, 15.6" Full HD IPS Display, AMD Ryzen 3 3200U, Vega 3 Graphics, 4GB DDR4, 128GB SSD, Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10 in S Mode, A515-43-R19L

  • AMD Ryzen 3 3200U Dual-Core Processor (Up to 3.5GHz) | 4GB DDR4 Memory | 128GB PCIe NVMe SSD
  • 15.6" Full HD (1920 x 1080) Widescreen LED-backlit IPS Display | AMD Radeon Vega 3 Mobile Graphics
  • 1 - USB 3.1 Gen 1 Port, 2 - USB 2.0 Ports & 1 - HDMI Port with HDCP support
  • 802.11ac WiFi | Backlit Keyboard | Up to 7.5 Hours Battery Life
  • Windows 10 in S mode. Maximum Power Supply Wattage - 65 W

and a MUST should be adding a 2nd SO-DIMM stick to have at least 8 GB of memory, ex 19$ for 4GB of memory: https://www.newegg.com/crucial-4gb-260-pin-ddr4-so-dimm/p/N82E16820156148?Item=N82E16820156148

It comes with Windows 10 in S mode which I think forces  you to use the Windows Store only to buy applications. But you can always download regular Windows 10 from Microsoft and create a usb stick with it:

Windows USB/DVD Download Tool

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56485

You can then buy a license key for 10-15$ from various websites and you're good.

Or you can just buy the legal version from Microsoft for something  like

70$  : windows 10 home dvd (can make usb stick version legally) : https://www.amazon.com/Windows-Home-English-Language-Product/dp/B07TJ8SR1H/

107$ : windows 10 pro dvd : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VFWH31Q/

107$ : windows 10 home usb stick retail box : https://www.amazon.com/NEW-Windows-Home-English-Sealed/dp/B07SJH85ZH/ref=pd_sbs_65_1/137-2228000-0079548
