4 and 5 years. Just checked and i ordered my AOC i2369Vm half july 2015 and I'm using that one right now to type this message sooo...

I'm happy with it! The other one is a G2460PF iirc.

I recall the general consensus being they're decent, but better options exist.

I am kind of on a budget, I do not expect "insane" things but looking at the low end prices of 144hz this one stood out to me. Was hoping for a Samsung one but the ones I could find were all curved which I'm not looking for

I have 2 AOC monitors myself and a few people i know have one as well and no complains so far.

Do better options exist? Yes, but they are usually more expensive, I would say they are the sweet spot for price/performance.

For me, I've had my 35" UW for about 2 years now.  Absolutely love it.  It's a Samsung VA panel.  I love the aesthetics of it as well as the performance.  No issues with it at all.

It's a good looking monitor, was pricey due to being a G-Sync monitor, and looks good.

Don't know anyone else with one personally, so can't comment further.

Thanks for the replies, never had any personal experience with this brand so it's good to know it's got a good name out here :)

It's a decent option. I personally wouldn't consider them an option for a more higher end gaming panel though; I have issues with their 144hz monitors having quite a bit of ghosting. But their sub 200 USD monitors look like a decent option (depending on the pricing and other availability where you buy from).

As always, read reviews too.  Mine was reviewed very highly, so I went with it.

I think it's hit or miss depending on the panel used and what games you're playing too for what you can accept.

For a little background, AOC (Admiral) has been around since 1934 and was one of the early manufacturers of TVs.  To my understanding, their quality's always been somewhere in the middle.  Not the best, but still good for the cost.  One of my work monitors is from AOC, and the picture quality on it is slightly better than the comparable LG monitor next to it.
