Will a 55 inch tv will be ok if i seat 7-10 feet away?

i sit 7 to 8ft from my 65" and its fine (had a 72" before at same distance)....my god some of these comments just hurt reading them

cant game on tv, hurts eyes? (facepalm)

Ive used a 32 inch TV as a computer monitor and my eye balls were about 3 feet from the screen. Never had an issue. Keep in mind with larger screens the closer you are, you might want to consider 4K. Honestly when I was thinking of upgrading to a 4K TV, everyone here was telling me to go with a 55 -60 inch and my TV is at the foot of my bed. Literally just over 6 feet from my face.

I wonder if anyone on this thread has used a TV in the last decade.

You'll be fine with sitting that far, it's not as far as I'd sit from the TV (I'd probably be around 12-15 feet on a 55" TV?) but it really won't be bad at all. Just make sure you're sitting in a position that's comfortable and won't require you to lift your neck constantly.
