Too good to be true price from a third-party seller? Yes, I'd say the odds of a scam are high here.

It is not sold by amazon, but by a company called Telecom Online.

However it is covered by amazon, so if there are problems you can just send it back FOC and get all your money back. Amazon don't give a crap, they will just accept the return within 30 days, especially if it is not what was described.

Also, sent you a PM.

does that mean 30 days after it arrives, or after purches? because it has a 10 day expected delivery.

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

  • Looking at the seller "Telecom Online" they have a lot of items that are far below MSRP. There's RTX2080Tis for 500 pounds (normally more than 1000 pounds), RTX 2080's for 300 pounds, Threadripper CPUs for under 200 pounds, etc.
  • The GTX 1080 series cards have been out of production for over a year, very unlikely stores still have new stock.
  • The business address listed for the seller is a residential house in the Netherlands.

Very high likelihood it's a scam account. Regardless of any buyer protections Amazon offers I would suggest you don't take the risk.
