Posted August 6, 2019 I just recently upgraded to google it’s a lot better but I’m already noticing some connection issues, on my pc hardwired i do testing speeds it almost always get around 600mb I’m connected straight to the motherboard which is a Asus rog maximus x code, so I would really like to know how make my internet speed experience better I have a unlimited budget but I don’t also wanna go to crazy. Posted August 6, 2019 At those speed -- 600 / 1g I would contact the provider you are getting 50% of what you pay for . Posted August 6, 2019 Check for any LAN optimization software installed, make sure your drivers are fully updated from the mobo website (without installing their "extra" software). Make sure you don't have any QoS or anything enabled either that could be throttling speed. Posted August 7, 2019 I would advice you to test speeds against http://speed.googlefiber.net If that still provides you with poor performance I would contact Google Fiber and ask them to troubleshoot our internet connection. I would say that either there is problems with cables coming to your home or there is just congestion in Google Fiber's network in your area (this is very common where ISP's overbook their network).
