It doesn't matter if you're an AMD guy or not, the cooling on the Armour series from MSI sucks. MSI makes the cooling shrounds, not AMD. The Gaming X cards are much better.

590 isn't worth it anyway, see if you can get a GTX 1660/1660ti. New or used should be fine

Honestly, I'd look for a used vega 56 non-blower as they can be had for around 590 prices, unless the 590 got cheaper.

He wants everything new as its his first time building a pc and he wants warenty coverage incase he screws something up

It all comes down to prise. The 1660;is slower than the 590 and the 1660 Ti is only a bit faster. Not worth of it's more money.

Yeah but the 1660ti is an extra 70 pounds for me and he is on a budget and needs the most performance for the lowest cost while still keeping everything new

In that case, as @valdyrgramr recommended, try find a Vega 56 for around an RX 590 price.

Then get a 580 or 1660 non ti. A good GPU cooler is important for longevity, stability and noise.

I just bought a used EVGA 1080ti. You just go to their website and put the serial number in and the warranty gets transferred to you as the new owner. I'm sure other companies do this as well.

Also, many warranties don't cover user error.

A nitro + RX 580 would not be far behind an Armor 590, might want to consider that instead

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?
