So i have a h115i front mounted in a meshify C (can't mount it on top, top get this out of the way). Ever since installing the rad up front my gpu temps have increased quite a lot (up to 90°c under full load, cpu is at 45-50°). I have a G1 gigabyte 1080. I'm thinking of switching all my fans around so i'll have 1x140mm on top and 1x120mm in the back as intake and the 2x140mm on the aio in the front as exhaust. Would this be beneficial at all? Before i go and switch all the fans i wanted clarification / advice so that i don't do it for nothing. Has anyone done this? Thanks for the help!

You're just reversing airflow, air doesn't care.  You'll have cooler GPU temps and warmer CPU temps.

Try it and update this thread with the new temps, so we have some data to chew on.

Doing it is the best way to figure it out!

My theory would be no it would not help, simply because the GPU's fans would be facing down, with the back plate facing the fans at the top. Basically you'd just be cooling the back plate of your card. The only way to know for sure though is experiment! Do it for science!!!

I think doing the experiment is best idea but assuming CPU isn't getting hot atm it should be a good trade-off, you never stated relative temps for CPU but id assume 65C or so?  Have you done anything with fan speeds at all?

CPU is at 75° max under aida 64 gpu + cpu stress test while the gpu is in the mid 80s. I have a quiet fan curve set for both but with my previous cooler which was a tiny air cooler my gpu didn't reach more than 75°c in any game with an even quieter fan profile. In gaming the gpu now sits at 75-80 at 2000mhz @ 1.0V, which is still okay but it would be great if it was even lower and the cpu is at 50 to 55 MAX while gaming at 4.3 @1.3V. I've bound my exhaust fans to the gpu temps now since i have a feeling that all the hot air is stuck in the case cause the cpu isn't getting hot during gaming. I will report the results and if i decided to switch out the orientation in the case after all!

So it would appear that the exhaust fans were indeed spinning too slow. I've set a curve so they spin via the gpu temps not cpu and i've brought down temps to mid to high 70s which is acceptable for now. I will try to reverse the fans to see if that helps ... in the future ... when i decide not to be so lazy :D
