Tabbing Does Not Work?

One thing I enjoy doing often in writing is tabbing in, but this doesn't seem to work on the forums here, it just doesn't do anything. I'm assuming this is a known bug? I'm on Windows 10, on the latest build of Chrome.

Can you clarify? Like do you mean indentation? For reading it's better that you leave empty row between paragraphs instead.

That kind of editing makes reading it on mobile or other smaller screens messy. Empty line brake between paragraphs is much clearer. And you can use centered text if you want to make a point or something.

Are you mixing HTML to BBCode perhaps? I don't think HTML has ever been allowed due to all security issues it can bring. But some BBCode tags should still work, the basic ones at least.

does work! So you could do that instead.  As to why tabbing/indenting doesn't work, no clue.

You can use bold/italics/quote tags/font size/colour/paragraph spacing to highlight the key points. You can use tab to additionally indent bullet points, but it is not something that I am planning to add for paragraph text.

You do realize that because this is responsive site, everything that looks "good" on your monitor, will look bad on mine?

Yes. To test this, I narrowed down this Window as much as possible (to 480 pixels wide, I assume), and it still looks good, even in the quote.

 

(mini rant: I actually haven't used the LTT forum since we moved to a newer forum version in 2015. As it became unusable on mobile, my (by fair) main platform, I ended up leaving the forum. Only recently returned because I needed some help with somethnig. I still solely use it on desktop. Still sad lol)

 

Posting in this narrow mode is fun, by the way.
