The title kinda says it all.
A fairly stupid question I assume but one I have none the less.
I have disassembled my phone to change the screen, and I can see that the replacement screen does not have glue pads for some of the smaller boards so they fall off fairly easily when I just place them into their grooves, so I was wondering if a solution could be to just add a super small amount of glue from a normal glue stick (the kind used on paper) to the small electronic boards to attach them to the new frame better.

Thanks for reading and entertaining this question

In general this should not be a problem, but be aware that many cheap glue is water (or partly water) based. So it could be conductive. Also I dont think removing the screen again would be easy then. ORRRR the glue might not even be powerful enough for what you are trying to do

So, this is when I guess I have to come clean and say that the phone is on the table in front of me, disassembled, and I am fairly sure that there is no double-sided tape in the house, as well as the fact that I don't live in an "amazon enabled" country, and even if I did, its 1am here.

So all around great planning from my part over here...

Thanks for all the replies though!

buy the tape, do it well one time only, no liquid of any kind should be near the screen, buy the tape, 1 am or not, do it well or you will loose time and the part you bought
