im newbie pls help . is this motherboard good for ryzen 5 3600 OC? also ram 3200mhz?

Save some money. Cheapest options for DECENT AM4 motherboards:

Asrock B450M Pro4 (mATX) | Asrock B450 Pro4 (ATX)

MSI B450M Gaming Plus (mATX) | MSI B450 A-Pro (ATX)

MSI B450M Bazooka V2 (mATX)

I'd consider these the BARE MINIMUM for six core CPU.

Mine runs well under 1 volt (.3-.7) at idle at default stock settings. Even with PBO turned on it idles just fine. Under light loads It still runs around 1.1 to 1.2 volts. Under heavy loads and boosting it will shoot up to 1.3-1.4 volts though.

And manually locking the clock speed or overclocking probably isn't giving you better performance at all, nor is it running as efficient because you locked the clock speed and voltage. You are for sure hurting your single core clock speeds. There is no way you are overclocking any where near what pbo can boost to on single core. And if you are it isn't by undervolting and it isn't running cooler.

With the newest chipset driveres and most current bios you shouldn't have problems with high voltages and heating issues. And don't use ryzen master to monitor the cpu. Just turning that program on boosts your voltage. Cpuz gives you a more accurate voltage reading.

You get hot Vrms and severe throttling.

*If* you overclock, otherwise it's gonna work perfectly

  • CPU
    r5 5600x
  • Motherboard
    Arous b550 pro ac v1
  • RAM
    Tcreate 32gb ddr4 3600 cl18

  • Audio
    Lots of chi-fi iems

don't run those at stock. UNDERVOLT. I personally prefer fixed clock speed with fixed voltage, with some tinkering, you can get a bit better clock speeds with lower voltages, thus gaining performance with LESS HEAT GENERATED-->cooler CPU. UV&OC

AMD cpu-s sometimes run hot and overvolted out of the box. With fine-tuning, you can improve them a lot.

Unfortunately, undervolting doesn't help
