I had Windows 10 with a "?" because it looks like the OP's system is a pre-built iBuyPower PC.

Windows 10 key should have been registered with his iBuyPower's hardware ID (e.g. motherboard) prior to being shipped out.

It is unlikely THAT Windows 10 key can be used on a new custom-built PC.

In general you're correct, but for me/my friends this worked in several occasions. Just try the migration tool. It worked every time for me. MS is not that much interested in grabbing cash from endusers buying  windows anymore. Its B2B and services. Therefore they got pretty chill with thier requirements for switching the key to a new mobo.

Also: (at least in the EU where I am from and I think in the US to) That Win key is yours, you bought it with the PC, dont matter if bought directly, "in russia :D" or form a OEM ;)

I bet you it will work. OP shall just try. IF it won't activate he still can use the system and then go "to russia" and get a key :D

FOLDING MONTH 2021! GOGOGO and save on some heating costs 🙂

""? But why would you: smash together the best parts and use it for both ;)

True, do you have a case recommendation?
How does my current spec list look?
Corsair CX750 PSU

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16gb 3000

Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI (is there a non-wifi variant)

Intel Core i7-9700K 3.6ghz

Noctua NH-D16 Cooler

Intel 660p Series M.2 (512GB)
Thinking of Fractal Design Meshify C.

If I reuse my GTX 1070 then it would bottleneck with my new CPU.

If i got a new GPU it'd be a RTX 2080
