Hello,

It's a really odd problem im having here so I'll try my best to explain it all.

I bought a IPS FullHD monitor about a week ago and I also bought my first gaming pc as well, the problem occurs when I'm connecting my brand new minitor to pc, Im always getting a blurry display, the picture quality is shitty, hd videos are shitty ect...I don't think that a Fullhd minotor is supposed to look like that...it's not crystal clear. I thought that IPS monitors were supposed to deliver crips images, vibrant colors and all but I'm not seeing that at all...the resolution is shitty even thought the display is set at native resolution (1920x1080), Hell, even my laptop's screen wich has a resolution of 1366x768 looks wayyyyy better than that.

I tried using different cables (VGA HDMI and DVI) but I'm still getting a blurry and shitty display, so I connected my old 1680x1050 monitor (still working fine) to my pc and BOW!...all I get is a blurry and shitty low resolution display, and I even made sure that my gpu (rx 580) driver is update, same with my monitors.

I really don't know what is causing this..I think that it is more of a software issue but oh well...Pls help!

Hello!

At the moment I am unable to take a picture of my monitor because I don't have any devices to do so (Well I do have my laptop but the quality is just too bad, you wouldn't see much) but what I can say is that my monitor looks blurry even at native resolution.

And to respond to igorM's reply...yes, the scalling is set to 100%.

Try pulling up the OSD from the monitor buttons and see if it says the resolution.

Also try connecting the monitor to your laptop and see if it displays properly.

So the OSD says that the the screen's resolution is set at 1920x1080/60hz.

I connected my laptop to my monitor and nothing has changed at all...my laptop has a intel hd 620 so it should handle 1920x1080 no problem...

What size is your monitor? 1080p isn't all that crisp by today's standards, especially if you've got a bigger screen. You may have just expected more than was realistic. It's hard to tell if it's malfunctioning without a picture. Do you not have a smartphone?

My monitor's screen size is 24 inch.

Unfortunately I don't have a smartphone or any devices that would allow me to take pictures with a decent quality so I'll try to borrow my friend's phone tomorrow.
