network attached recorder and a WD my cloud

I have a WD mycloud already on my network for video footage and personal backup.

The mycloud NAS does support running various apps natively but they seem to have dropped support for a network attached recorder to interface with security cameras to act as the DVR for them.

Is anyone currently using a Mycloud as a DVR for their surveillance cams?
