Simple laptop for college

Don’t shoot me but I have an easy requests 

 

I already have a custom build that I’m taking to school but I want a on the go laptop that’s moderately powered So like 

 

16 gb of ram 

500 gb sad 

an I5 

A 1440p display or better 

 

in the range of like 1300-1800 preferably towards 1300-1500  

 

Honestly I just want a laptop for on the go and probably to do some like programming work

I wouldn't power with anything higher than 1080p for a laptop. With a screen that's 15.6" or smaller, it's impossible to see a difference between 1080p and 1440p unless you're sitting inches from the screen. I don't even think you'll find a laptop with a 1440p display, it's either 4k or 1080p unless you're looking for a gaming laptop.
