RT-AC86U vs RT-AC3200

I currently have an RT-AC3200, but I wanted to know if the RT-AC86U would be better for range. I like my AC3200 but the AC86U is the same price right now and my AC3200 just randomly turned off wifi for no reason, it might be a one-off but I also want to know if the RT-AC86U has more range and whatnot.
