Both... i have a 450 br and i love it and ive heard good things from others too so idk how its so bad an seasonic seems like a reputable brand (i know even good brands have bad products) but the little ive heard about it didnt seem too bad either.

it only operates well up to 30 degrees, most PSUs can do 40 or 50 degrees, which make it imo not worth it to get

well, your own point has been proven

 

s12iii isn't as bad as the s12ii/m12ii, but uses a worse regulation than most PSUs at the price. s12iii uses dual mag amp, which needs a load unlike dc-dc.

 

the mentioned cx doesn't have either of these problems, it's rated at 40 degrees and uses dc-dc regulation

Correct.  It really depends on what you plan on doing soonish vs what you can afford now.  Buying things that will work with better stuff later requires an upfront cash outlay for said foundation parts.

 

Conversely, you can save up a little more now and get a really good system for $500-$550.

Ah Ok, seriously thank you, and to everyone, because this is my first build and I really just want to make sure it will boot just fine! Essentially, for context, This PC will be used for gaming, but I'm not trying to play ultra settings on high-end games like GTA 5 xD. As long as this computer is fine for online web-surfing, average gaming that runs OK, with a good storage, im fine. Do you think this system is OK for that? (+for working on to)

The builds that folks have listed will ALL work fine for your needs.  I think what we're stumbling on is the "Average Gaming" thing.  For me that means running ANY game okay.  I play a diverse set of games, that I forget that some people only play Fortnite or Minecraft or CS:Go and don't need a mid-level PC.

 

At your budget, they all have pros and cons.  I think they've been sufficiently explained so you can make a good decision.

 

Of course, if you need more clarification on anything keep posting, we'll gladly explain!

Those sorts of games, and random free Steam FPS games, yeah its pretty much what I play. I don't play any really taxing games. So what I mean is, I need a PC that can play these sort of games (to an alright standard). and is good for youtube and work. Do you think my original posted parts list would be fine for that?? (All the other recomendations people made such as more Ram etc not taken into account, as this is what I am planning to add later)

It'll drop right on.  The mobo would need a BIOS update for the new 3000 series, not the older 2000 series.  You're good.

Really? When i had my 2200g and rx580 it would bottleneck it in some games (not by too much but still) and once i upgraded to a 2600x frame rates increased by about 8-10fps if i gave an estimate.
