500$ budget PC

Finally, i have this final PC build. but still wasn't quite sure about the motherboard. and future upgrade

 

CPU  -  Ryzen 2200g                       95$
MOBO -  Asrock b450 pro 4            95$
GPU  -  Power color rx570 4Gb    130$
RAM  - KLevv 3200mhz 4x2            51$
SSD   -Adata SU650 240GB           30$
CASE -  Cube Gaming irvbow         33$
PSU   -Be Quiet! U9 400W bronze  46$

 

Total: 480$

My question it's:

1. 2200g Support Dual channel. but if I add more rams to 4x4 will it increase to 16GB? if yes then, its the quad ram helps to render in the premiere? 

2. It's ASRock good? or should I switch to MSI b450-A pro? or any other similar mobo with 4 channel and have the same price?

Forget about 2200g. Get Ryzen 1600/1700 don't need integrated graphics if you get rx 570 video card.

Get better psu, can probably do better in that price range

Can get slightly better motherboard, price seems a bit high for that motherboard

yes, you must install memory sticks in pairs, for dual channel. There's no "quad channel", socket AM4 has only 2 memory channels.

you can later add 2x4GB or 2x8 GB sticks, or even 2x16GB, will be fine. more than 8GB will help, more performance, but having more than 2 sticks won't increase performance, or decrease it.

 

say what online stores you can buy from, maybe we can give some suggestions.

You can probably get a better psu and motherboard for that price. To save some money get a gigabyte b450m ds3h and maybe a 500W psu(around $40 on amazon).

There's also Ryzen 1200 (quad core like 2200g but without integrated graphics) starting from 70$: ebay link

and the best deal would probably be Ryzen 5 1400 ( 4 cores + hyperthreading, so 8 'cores' in Windows) for around 80$: ebay link

 

These CPUs without integrated graphics also have the potential of overclocking a bit better, because a part of the "power budget" is not reserved for the integrated graphics part of the silicon chip and heat generated by the cores may be spread over a larger area of the chip.

 

The 2200g will also limit your video card just a tiny bit, because it only has 8 pci-e lanes for the video cards, the other 8 lanes are permanently connected to the video card inside the CPU.

So a CPU without integrated graphics will give you the full pci-e x16 lanes.

 

As for your ram questions.

 

The CPU benefits from using ram in dual channel, so having two memory sticks. It does not gain extra performance from using 4 memory sticks, but it also won't be worse.

8 GB is often not enough in 2019 for some games, for some programs. Premiere will work fine with 8 GB of memory but you may find it will gain some performance boost if you have 16 GB of memory or more.

It's only stick of memory, but you can add a second stick 1-2 months later to get dual channel and a boost in performance.

I think the 2200g will just slightly bottleneck the 580 (as i ran both those in my main rig at one time). Maybe a slightly cheaper psu (like a 450 or 500w evga bronze unit) and a little less storage could squeeze a r5 1600 or at least a 1400.

he should look into older tech as its a better value deal for $500 range  Tech Yes City shows a lot of deals in that part of the world.
