so i'm on vacation and the internet is shit. so i bought a 5 meter extension cord and a strong wifi antenna adapter. now i'm getting a reading of 120mb/s compared to nothing before. thing is. what does 120mb/s mean, is it effective? so if the router outputs 120mbs, i'll get 120mbs?

That speed is just the download speed in Mb/s. What do you mean by effective?

so, the internet speed is 100mb, and with LAN i can download at 100mb, by having 100 mb/s like in the picture, does it mean i'll be able to use the full 100mb? or it might be slower?

It just means the speed that the PC is talking to the Wi-Fi router.

 

Otherwise yes, as long as your network speed exceeds your internet speed, you can use the full extent of your internet speed.

Depends on bandwidth

Considering it's a hotel, you'll probably get nowhere near 120 Mb down.
