Windows 10 laptop running windows 8 no wifi

I needed windows 8 on a laptop for some old software no I could use compatibility or virtual machine.

 

so downloaded it and says there’s no wifi photo attached.

 

how to fix? If there is way to fix let me know otherwise please send link to a low profile wifi USB adapter if such thing exists. Like one of those tiny usb’s You get that don’t stick out.

ps I don’t quite understand the photos myself never used windows 8 before but basically no wifi signals being picked up.

If it's a laptop that originally shipped with Windows 10, HP may never have made Windows 8 drivers for that card.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

make sure the wifi is turned on.  HP has a light up on the F keys. make sure it isn't orange.

Ok so I found the problem as one or two of you said - drivers. Turns out you can really get windows 8.1 hp drivers. Does anyone know any drivers for other machines that may work?
