Is this problem for my mobo or not?!?!?!?!

Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Zen 2 CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.

BIOS update

AMD has not officially expanded their boot kit to 3rd gen ryzen and 2nd gen motherboards, but chances are they'd be fine sending a CPU out. Otherwise, got a computer shop in your vicinity that would lend a CPU?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

That board doesn't actually need it, MSI had bios flashback on most of their B450 boards.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

Solid parts choices. (Obviously no PSU listed.)

With Navi and SUPER around the corner, I'd hold off on the Vega 64 AMD see what $400 gets you around their release. It's likely going to be a better option. (2060 Super or 2070 on a price cut...)

As mentioned by Herman that board has bios flashback, so no cpu needed.

remove the cpu cooler, that is not a good option or even a need, since you get a cooler.

Its quite a bit better than AMD's stock cooler, for $40 its pretty good value.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600  Heatsink: ID-Cooling Frostflow X GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 Mini 6GB RAM: KLEVV Bolt 3600Mhz (2x8GB) Mobo: ASUS B550-F ROG Strix (Wifi)  Case: Fractal Design Meshify C PSU: Deepcool DQ-M-V2L
