Wifi Antenna for Z390

jeroen2001

My ping has been pretty bad lately, from games like battlefield, minecraft, fortnite you name it.

My MSI Z390 Tomahawk Arctic has 2 spaces for wifi antenna's but i don't know which one to buy?

And i also don't want to spend alot of money on thing's i don't need. I'm looking for antenna's only, no routers.

Best regards,

I strongly believe new antennas won't solve your problems.

I'd spend the money on something a little bit for certain like powerline adapters or an AP

It's not like my budget is low, but want the best for the price, maybe max around ~20,25 euro's.

In theory, an antenna is just copper wire exposed to the atmosphere so brand won't make a big difference. What will make a difference is the length of the antenna and surface area of the copper

That says  its for the Z170, not the Z390

It is made for a specific motherboard, but so long as it has the same connector, it should work fine. Again, an antenna is just copper wire

Thats because your using WiFi. Its susceptible to interference. Just because you didnt have issues at the beginning doesn't mean things cant change. I agree with @Slottr, I dont think a new antenna will help. The only thing a new antenna will maybe do is be more sensitive to getting the signal. But WiFi as a whole has higher latency. Id suggest power line adapters or Moca adapters.

Then why do you need an antenna? MoCA is much better than WiFi.
