Any recommendations for addressable RGB strips?

Cloverseer

Hi,

I have GPU with RGB, CPU fan with RGB, RAM with RGB, a motherboard with RGB - but the case still looks dark. I guess I need some RGB inside. Any recommendations for addressable RGB strips that I will be able to use with my motherboard?

One is Gigabyte and another MB is from ASRock (I have 2 setup's).

The ASrock:

Supports in total up to 12V/3A, 36W LED Strip • 1 x Addressable LED Header

If you would like something that is plug and play the magnetic strips from Cable Mod are very good. You can also get rolls of lights that you can cut to length and wire up yourself.

@W-L

Are you referring to this?

https://cablemod.com/product-category/led-strips/magnetic/

I don't see that they have addressable RGB strips.

I don't mind buying a generic chinese brand, but I really like the products to already have the right headers that I need for the 2 motherboards that I mentioned without me doing any soldering.

Oh their magnetic line looks to only be for regular RGB. These would be what you require for ARGB.

@W-L

Thanks for the swift reply!

But it is mentioned that the strip support only GIGABYTE and ASUS motherboards - I have Gigabyte and ASRock.

They also charge $25 without shipping for only 30cm - I need about 8 pieces of this, sounds pricey...

This could also match? any other alternative?

I feel like my question is unique, but I believe this is something that everyone needs.

@xreaperx22

What about the alternative product I linked? any other similar (and cheaper) product that might be suitable?

Yes that would work but require you to do the termination and connectors by cutting the lights to length. Also you will want to take note of how long your LED strip is and what your header can handle as you do not want to overload it.

Here's an example of a plug and play third party option.
