Will the new AMD ryzen cpu get affected by RAM SPEED?

Will my 2400mhz 2X8 ram affect the performance of the new ryzen cpu's? Cuz we know that and cpu's depend so much on ram speeds, the faster the better.

NOTE: I'm planning to get one of course won't be anytime soon. Maybe Christmas

I highly doubt they'd redo Zen 2 so that it no longer uses Infinity Fabric, so fast RAM will still probably be a good idea.

most likely, amd is recommending 3600mhz ram

just wait like 24 hours for reviews(less than that probably)

ram speeds always affect performance. Intel processors benefit from faster ram, AMD just does more. Always spring for faster memory to increase performance.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Nope. They are saying thats the best "price to performance" according to them. Whatever that entails

No man it's known that Intel doesn't depend on the speed that much. Am getting the most out of my CPU with a 2400mhz. Now my problem is if I bought an AMD CPU I'll have to buy a new Mobo that support more than 2666 MHz of ram speed ??

3000mhz is the current sweetspot with some exceptions. If you really want to, one can just apply more voltage and hope for an overclock

Yes, because RAM speed is still tied to Infinity fabric frequency (with two straps available, but still related and you cant have faster IF than memory).

It's not known that Intel doesn't benefit much from higher ram speeds, it's known that Ryzen just benefits more. 2400 MHz is by no means the performance cap for Intel processors in gaming.
