mic picking up spotify sound

hello,  i bought hyperx cloud alpha and whenever i play music on spotify my friends over at discord can hear what im listening to. anybody can help me pls?

Hey man, I don't own the cloud alpha's but some headsets combine mic and outgoing audio sometimes. If it's not cause of thi would it be possible for you to post a screenshot of your sound settings?

go down to your taskbar and rightclick on the volume icon then click on sounds. Then navigate to the recording and playback and take a screenshot of both of those
