CPU to GPU mount adapter

GPU heatsinks leave much lacking.  If you get a PCIe extension, and don't care about having a compact rig, you can give them breathing room sufficient to mount a superior CPU heatsink on them.  Emphasis here on "mount".  GPU and CPU mounts differ sufficiently that this isn't simple.  I don't have a 3-d printer or access to machining equipment to make my own.  Does anyone know of adapters that could mount a CPU heatsink on a GPU?

(and, yes, I've looked at GPU heatsinks.  and, I don't want to hook up an AIO to watercool the GPU.)

They literally make kits to mount CPU AIO coolers to GPUs. I believe NZXT and a few others make them.

Otherwise if the dies didn't line up neither would the through-holes and you won't be able to mount it flush with anything "secure" like screws. Then the zip-tie apocalypse would take over.

But it wasn't necessary for attaching the heatsink. In his videos, you can see that a metal sheet or cnc'ed wood works with some standoffs.
