Going to buy a new psu and give my old evga 600 watt to a friend along with a 1800x and b350 tomahawk to upgrade him when the 3700x comes out.

System will be

ryzen 7 3700x

b450 tomahawk

2 8gb sticks of ddr4 ram

strix rtx 2060

adat su800 m.2 boot drive

Samsung 860 evo 512gb game drive

WD black 2 tb game drive

in a fractal design focus g case with 4 120mm fans.

Id like to get a good psu but don’t want to go overkill or waste money. Don’t really have a budget but no reason to waste cash if I don’t have to. I’m in the USA and can buy from wherever no preferences

Any reliable 500-550w PSU should be perfect for you. List some choices you have in mind, and we will help narrow the list down, and give reccommendations.

I really don’t have much in mind, I’d like for it to be modular and a good warranty just in case  but other then that i don’t care. I don’t need fanless, rgb, don’t care about brand either. Just want a reliable quality unit without spending more then I have to.

Pick the absolute highest ranked unit of this list you are willing to spend on. Don't bother with anything below B tier.

I have been using Corsairs PSU's for quite some time, if you want a brand recommendation. Never had a single issue.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

Wall Of Fame (Informative people/People I like): @Glenwing @DrMacintosh @Schnoz @TempestCatto @LogicalDrm @Dan Castellaneta
