what would you grab if your house is burning down?

felixbearpig

Luckily my dog can save himself and even open the door for me if my hands are full of valuables. :D

Take my phone cause it's easy to grab. Then probably disconnect my desktop as quickly as I can to save my media collection I've had for years and years. Nothing much else at my place that isn't replaceable

Cat and girlfriend.

I assume they have legs, they can run while you save your PC.

If the house was ablaze I would GTFO. the only thing I'd consider going back for is a person.

I don't have anything that valuable in the house to be honest, nothing I'd risk becoming bacon for.

At least I hope it was an xbox one ;)

Personally I would make sure my family and cat was safe!

Also, the HDD with all our family photos would be essential, too bad it's in the 2nd floor...

I would ramp up all my 12 fans on my PC (via modding and spare fans laying around) and let fan death suck up all the oxygen in the house. No oxygen = no fire.

Isn't that what insurance is for?

Yeah, I guess.  But I would rather die with the people I love than live alone.

Well, since i have insurance for house fires,

i would let my computer burn to hell and buy a new one with the insurance money

yeah I know eh, you get $3,000 for an i3 build because of "valuable personal information" and then you build a big as gaming rig.  Because who keeps important stuff on their hard drive anyways.  It should belong on external storage.

Back up HDD, and memory box... I'm sentimental..

Perhaps my Mum's rabbit... Perhaps not, depended how bad the fire was if I could go back in for a second time.

Smart arse ;)

What was I thinking?!?!? I fire worth $80,000 in damages?!?! whats a fire extinguisher going to do? keep the fire from burning your roast chicken? I would grab a phone and call up the fire brigade!

Important documents that are hard to replaced. Anything that makes it easier to rebuild my life again, that's if everything about my life resides in my home.

Don't care if my computer burns since there is nothing important on it, and I won't have time to escape the door carrying that thing. I would also need to grab my cat and that would be the most difficult thing to do.

Put your family photos into teh cloudz.

I would let it burn.  My PC is covered under home owners and I have all of the receipts!

do you still have them when your house burns down?

and personally, my laptop cause i need it for school and my desktop can burn down (always time to get a new one :P)
