I think that's really going be the biggest seller. It could potentially render the RTX 2070 pointless.

The 2070 is already pointless... marginal gain over the 2060 at a much higher price It is currently the worst price to performance card you can buy

This doesn't have any news of a price drop on the vanilla cards, but if the Super variants are rumored to be at the same price but with more performance it'd be stupid not to drop the price. You may see vendors slash prices if nVidia doesn't.  Otherwise, who would buy a 2080 for $799 when a 2080 SUPER is the same price?
