I dont think it will "fry" anything aslong as ur not overclocking or really pushing it to the wall.

It should work ok.

Because it's an uber cheap PSU known to be prone to failure.

You under-estimate cheap power supplies.  Care to swap out one of yours for his?  ;)

That PSU is  a major gamble they are prone to failure, if you're planning on upgrading soon anyway just buy the new one now. Why risk it at all.

I thought it would run good because all I have is an APU and the god damn "reviews" from the site I bought it (Popular in Romania) said it was good god curse them.

I didn't think it would burn me whole house down if I wasn't careful/

Welp, I am leaving my house and THIS pc for 2 months then when I'll come back I'll upgrade.

Thanks!

Also when I unboxed this think a metal chunk fell out of a inportant thing so that's quality right there hope I have wqrranty for that

The last one and the yellow thing? Welp it has liquid running into it the first yellow thing btw I am NOT using this psu anymore it already went full fan speed

I bought this thing last week and a metal chunk dropped from it amd now when I noticed a fairly fast fan I decided to look into it and realised from where it is from

the black thing in the distance

Energon, what a great name.

Energy - Gone...

Anyway those metal chunks, as long as it's not interfering other component, it would be just fine.

If its not working as advertised and you did not purposefully cause the damage within the warranty time, the seller, store or manufacture should accept the refund or replacement of goods, but it depends on the store or the country if they will do this TBH.

Which yellow thing? The one on the left, in the middle, or on the right?

The one on the right is a coil, it doesn't matter that it's bent to the side a little like that.

As for the other two yellow things, I can't tell from the angle of the picture.

Either way, I wouldn't trust that power supply with a raspberry pi. Return it and get something from a reputable brand, such as EVGA, Corsair, Cooler Master, Seasonic, etc...

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

What do you mean? part of it disconnected (from the circuit board)?

Yeah... that's not good. I'd definitely return the power supply if possible and get something better. It's not worth the risk (of damaging your computer and/or blowing up and starting a fire) with cheap power supplies.
