Posted January 26, 2014 I'm grabbing myself a Noctua NH-U14S to keep my 4670k chilled out, and I was just wondering, is the Thermal Compound that noctua supply actually any good? If not, Are there any good aftermarket alternatives? Thanks. PC Enthusiast, Devourer of biscuits
 Posted January 26, 2014 it will be fine What about it? @Tedwyn It's great for a free tube that comes with the cooler. The difference between it and a $20 alternative is less than negligible, maybe 2 or 3 degrees difference at the most.
 Posted January 26, 2014 it's not bad but no the best of all of them, but any normal compound from a well known company applied well will work fine.
