May want to actually wait til they come out before worrying about pricing theory.

If they sell for 600 pounds, I'll buy one here and ship it to you.

I am expecting if 499 USD is the launch price, the EU price will be around 530 euros (in the Netherlands at least, I am too lazy to find other EU country prices. Other than Germany, the Netherlands is somewhat the cheapest with Euro pricing). This number is based off the previous generation Ryzen 1000, 2000 and Ryzen Threadripper 1 and 2 prices in the EU (Netherlands). Data shown below.

Spoiler

Just some comparisons of previous Ryzen CPU's with their product name, USD launch price and the Euro (Dutch) launch prices I found on Tweakers.net:

1800X: 499 USD, 560 euros

1700: 329 USD, 360 euros

1600: 219 USD, 240 euros

2700x: 329 USD, 330 euros.

2600X: 229 USD, 240 euros.

TR:

2920X: 649 USD, 660 euros

1900X: 549 USD, 550 euros.

I think that has to do with US prices always being shown without VAT. I don't really know how they pay VAT if they order online, but I can't imagine that they pay none.

Our sales taxes are by region and then added just before sale when our shipping location is input.

We comment on pricing without taxes.

How much is the sales tax? (I know it depends on region).

For a bit of perspective, the prices I mentioned in this post are with 21% sales tax:

1900X: 549 USD, 550 euros.

That basically means all prices mentioned there are 17,5% lower if you subtract the tax. That makes the 1800X (for example) a 499 USD launch price, it retails for (with tax) 560 euros in the Netherlands, or 463 euros without tax and the conversion rate of USD to EUR is 499 USD = 480 euros (at the time of its release).

@Minibois they range from 4% to 10% I think?  I know Georgia is 4% sales tax  for the state, then we have local taxes on that. So If I have something delivered to my office it's 7% total tax.  If my house, it's 6% total tax.

I think 1500€ is well manageable

550 cpu,  250 mobo, 250 ram, 100 psu and 50 fans. thats  1200€

The mobo price is only guessed but I don't think a quality board is gonna be more than that. The rest can all be bought today and I don't exactly know how you're gonna exceed 1500€. Maybe 50 more for RAM, 50 more for PSU, that's still only 1300€

well here is the ram that I was planning to get:

G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 3200 PC4-25600 32GB 2x16GB CL14 - 305€

the PSU I want a quiet one, maybe this?

be quiet! Straight Power 11 550W ATX - 105€

Noctua NH-D15 - 90€

maybe you are right, however im not sure about PSU, will it be enough for a GPU update eventually? NAVI perhaps or nvidia equivalent

550W should be enough, but we'll have to wait for reviews on the 3900x's power consumption. If it only peaks at 105W, 550W PSU should be enough with a GPU up to 250W-300W.

If the 3900x behaves like a 9900k and draws a lot more power than it's TDP, 650W would be more suitable. If you have a power hungry GPU that is.

if the electricity bills are noticeable i may stick to 3700x tbh

Depends on the game.  Heavily modded games will break that 16GB ceiling.

Because sales tax is local. Varies by state and municipality, and some purchases may be exempt. There is no national sales tax.
