Can high temperatures damage a PSU (and monitor) over time?

I bought a PSU, monitor and CPU heatsink in preparation for an upcoming build that I will be putting together in July. In the meantime, I have them stored in my attic, which at this time of the year is very hot throughout the course of the day. For obvious reasons, I am not concerned about the heatsink, but I would like to know if the high temperatures in my attic will damage my PSU and monitor over the course of the next month before I even get to use them.

nah it cant get that hot to actually damage them. They are designed to run at high temperatures (atleast higher than ambient temps)

Glad to hear that. Guess I was worrying needlessly.

Don't forget, there are people who live in places like Egypt, India, or Florida, who use PCs. These places are probably as hot as your attic.

If it's just really hot, like 50C, then it doesn't matter. It would have to be more like 100C to be a problem.
