the mobile browser page is pretty good @October22nd you should be able to do everything with that. lots of people have thought about an app but the admins don't really think its necessary with having a good mobile page

Just now, Mr. horse said:

Why wold you need an app for a web site? All they do is take you to the site. A shortcut on your home screen would just as good.

I dunno I would just prefer an app. So I dont have to launch my phone browser type in the forum, sometimes sign in etc

First world problems I know, nevertheless it's still annoying to do.

The forum is extremely functional on mobile browsers so having an app is kind of pointless.

I remember I used to be on a site that used vbulletin 4 on my phone (later changed to 5). the experience was awful and extremely buggy and in no way streamlined for a smart phone. They later upgraded to Xenforo which was far superior.

LTT Forum runs like butter though. Invision (the software LTT uses) is by far the best mobile forum experience I've found and I've been on several of the top tier options.

A short cut on the home screen sound like what you need.

But TBH do you really want an app that keeps you logged in to a user account? If someone got a hold of your phone when it was unlocked they can really screw with you.

I don't find any problems with being kept signed in and I've never been one to worry about people getting into my account.
