NvMe m.2 SSD broke?

Hi, so I've recently purchased a 970 EVO NvME m.2 SSD

I've installed it fine, installed stuff on it fine etc. 

But I've recently bought a new cooler (dark rock pro 4)

After installing this, my 970 EVO no longer works

As in when I boot my PC There is no OS detected and I can't find it in my bios

Any help would be great thanks

Have you tried a reseat? Basic question but it could be that easy.

Yeah, and I've tried it in another slot

Did you touch it at all when you were installing the cooler? The only thing I can think of is it being completely broken. 

 

Is it still under warranty?

After having some throubles with my own m.2 SSD, somewhere suggested that having tightened the CPU cooler too much caused it to not work (properly). Perhaps you could try loosening the screws that connect the CPU cooler to the motherboard slightly, so there is less tension on the motherboard (or/and perhaps put your computer horizontally, see if that does anything).

Yeah, I mean it's likely I touched it, but I ground myself often, so I don't think it is that, but that's literally all I can think of it possibly being. Yeah it should be.

If nothing else works I'd just RMA it.

Yeah I tried this to no avail, think I'm just gonna have to replace it, thanks for the help though.

Do you perhaps have a friend or anyone else who has an M.2 slot/card to try it in their system? - or, do you have another M.2 drive to try in the slots you tried the troubled drive in?
