Hi guys,

I just upgrade my old FX build to the new Ryzen platform, I see amazing performance gains and everything. But also a rise in temps. I've tested GTA V for a couple of minutes and the cpu hit a max of 74 degrees celcius. I've looked around the internet and didn't really find answers. I'm just wondering what normal temperatures are for the stock cooler. I have no intent on overclocking or anything btw. My average temps are around the 40s to 50s according to Core Temp when I'm just in Windows and not doing anything intense.

I just want to make sure that these temps are okay so I have ease of mind, thanks in advance people!

74c is a safe temperature, it won't cause any damage to your CPU.

It could be better.  What is the temperature of the room the PC is in?
