Hello, anybody know of a seating chart including all files? (html,php etc.)

i would be really interested in this.

i need one for a lan party me and my class are hosting.

since the lan is sold out and all the seats are taken i just need the visual.

This website is a great example of what i am looking for :

Hey, You are pretty lucky, I have a friend who is part of the board for the Loughborough Computing society, I can see if they can share the software with you.

Pretty simple.

They have their users enter a link to their steam profile. Then they use the steam API to get their status.

Offline = unoccupied. / grey

Online = occupied  / blue

In a game  = in a game  / green

i cant seem to get the hover thing to work, where you hover over a seat and you see a profile "box". i think there is a javascript file i'm missing.

this is the hover box / seat.

                    <div class="seat committee-seat lanwebsite-contact" id="A1" value="292">						<div class="hover-container">							<div class="seat-hover" style="display: none;">								<div class="head-box">									<div class="avatar">										<img src="http://lsucs.org.uk/styles/default/xenforo/avatars/avatar_l.png">									</div>								<div class="main-info">Xiao<br>AtLAN</div>								</div>							<div class="seat-number">Seat:A1</div>							</div>						</div>					</div>

these are the javascript files im including

<script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.appear.js"></script><script type="text/javascript" src="js/map.js"></script><script src="http://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery-mousewheel/3.0.6/jquery.mousewheel.min.js"></script><script src="./js/map.js"></script><script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.10.2/jquery.min.js"></script><script src="./js/bootstrap.js"></script><script src="./js/contact_me.js"></script><script src="./js/jqBootstrapValidation.js"></script><script src="./js/bootstrap.min.js"></script>

and the document if anybody is interested.

Things are looking nice, Just one thing, a good courtesy would be to put the source of the system in the footer as a thanks to the creator.

As the github repository doesn't specify a license then it falls back on the default github license which is just all rights reserved to the owner.

Just somewhere that is publicly accessible and noticeable.

  • 4 months later...

I know this is a bit of an "old" topic, but I have a question: I tried setting up the site on a local server, but all I got were errors.. Anyone that can help me?

Secondly, would it be possible to link the site to Wordpress? We have a Wordpress site for our LAN that fits all our needs, except for a seat map..

if interested this is the finished product: http://sjovegan-ikt.no/seatmap.htm

i know it's somewhat ugly to look at, and the code is a bit messy but might be something to look at if you are looking for inspiration.
