PNY graphics cards

FsyNorth
Go to solution Solved by FsyNorth,

Fine I decided I’d wait a couple days to get the Gigabyte RTX 2080 Windforce. I’m only 14 so..

So I’m buying an rtx2080 and all the cards except the PNY ones are expensive. I’m getting the PNY RTX2080 xlr8 triple-fan.

i don’t play on overclocking. What are your experiences with PNY GPUs?

While personally i never owned a PNY card I hear they are decent.

But you still may wish to invest more into the GPU if you want good overclocking headroom, the least expensive PNY card is blower style cooling and well.... thats limiting for RTX cards.

I would get something with 2 fans at the least

Got any of these in your market?

At least get a dual fan card - better cooling of the cards.

PNY is a good company. They primarily sell quadros and other work station cards. They may be using a refrence PCB on the card you are planning, which isn't a bad thing it seems

the amount of fans really doesnt matter, sure there is more cooling potential of a triple fan design but typically a dual fan GPU is more than enough depending on what cooling methods are used on a GPU

Ive owned 1 blower style GPU in my life.  I also coincidently quite gaming for like 8 months after the sound of the jet engine made gaming unbearable and the amount of money I had paid at the time for the GPU just pissed me off lol.

Don't buy a blower card, unless you know what you are getting into lol.
