Weird Mac to Windows File Issues

Sychic

So I'm trying to recover files from a Macbook (2011 Pro A1286 FYI) and I've used HSFExplorer to get the files into windows. I've got them sitting in my documents folder but it won't let me compress them into a zip file at all. It keeps giving me the following errror

Anyone got any suggestions on how to fix this?

change the file permissions on windows under the security tab in properties.

Already tried that. I've got full control and ownership but I think it's something to do with the folder constantly reverting to read-only

You can try a couple of things:

1. Make a new folder outside of the users folder. Something like C:\tempfolder would work. Then COPY the files to the new folder and attempt to zip again.

2. Use a different program to compress the files and make sure that the zipped folder outputs somewhere else.
