4 GB enough for Windows 10 Productivity/ Media Center PC

4 GB enough for Windows 10 Productivity/ Media Center PC?

Is $15 dollars worth it enough to get another 4 GB if it will increase how much you are spending by 10%?

For basic usage, especially if the system has an SSD, I'd say it would be fine.  However, for $15, I'd definitely double the memory to 8 GB.

Barely

You can use it with a couple of tabs and other basic stuff.

But don't expect too much.

Have a 4GiB System myself -> Core 2 Duo T9300...

I agree. I think it will be fine.

Side note: Some people have very very different definitions of "productivity" I think people should be clear on what they are going to do.

That's a good/valid point.  I'm making the assumption productivity is web-browsing, sending e-mails, using basic Office programs, etc.  All of that would be fine, just not ultra speedy.  If it means photo-editing, then no, most likely not.

I suggested an SSD because they system would most likely be paging quite a bit.  A spinner HDD would just slow everything down.
