Hello

So you can say I'm being lazy but I'm struggling to find a laptop which meets my requirements and it's hard to search for the exact specs I so desire but here goes. 144HZ screen is essential or 120HZ is just fine 1440p is preferred but j can't find any so 1080p is fine on a laptop I'm sure I will not tell. Now this is where it gets tricky I would love for the laptop to be able to display on my current monitors I already have one being a 4k other is 1440p for gaming but I cannot find any with the ports for it do any laptops have two display ports? Last but not least a 17inch screen.

Now I'm not worried about the quality of the touchpad or the keyboard I already have those sorted. Specs SSD preferred or a small nvme. CPU and GPU again not too concerned as long as they will run Dark souls 3 at 60fps at max or so settings. I currently have a I7 8700K with a 1080ti running DS3 at max 1440p no problem but my desktop has to go I have kids on the way (yes actual twins) so I need a laptop so we have more room.

Thanks for anyone who takes the time to read this and I apologise for the life story.

Thanks again

Nathan

PS: I'm aware dark souls only runs at 60 fps the higher refresh rate is for games I don't play as much

Razer Blade Pro immediately comes to mind. Has a TB3 port for the 4K and HDMI 2.0 for your 1440P. Also recently got refreshed with an RTX 2080.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

He gave no budget and is looking for a desktop replacement.

I would struggle to recommend many Asus laptops. I love them as a brand, but laptops don't quite give as much allure to me as their other products.

First of all thanks for the responses I didn't give a price as I didnt want to limit my options any further and in regards to size and battery life I'm really not bothered as long as it isn't that stupid mothership laptop obviously that costs like 10k. I would like a thin laptop but you always seem to sacrifice performance with something like that and they cost alot more. I don't want RTX graphics as I don't play a game that supports it and I don't think they ever will do but I remember Linus saying the RTX 2060 is better then the GTX 1070 for price and performance so I wouldn't disregard that option.

Yes I'm from the uk. Max budget of £1500 let's say. Not worried about the weight it's going to be a 17 inch laptop it will be heavy so weight doesn't concern me. Battery life again not too worried almost all situations I will be in I will have a wall outlet.
