if you are running on a budget you could opt to a new Mobo and cpu so you wont be getting buttF*cked by your Socket type right?!

isn't it a better option to go for a 3200Mhz kit, because you want to pair it with a ryzen cpu?

in my first build im gonna use the LPX's 3200 2x8 kit bc. they were in sale and were hands down the cheapest (new from retailer) 3200 2x8 kit i could get in the netherlands. reason why i really wanted to work with really new parts because its gonna be my first build. and i dont want to get bad parts and spend more then needed.

if you want intel you're looking at something like this:

PCPartPicker Part List
Type Item Price
CPU Intel - Core i5-9600K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor $264.89 @ OutletPC
Motherboard MSI - Z390-A PRO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $119.99 @ Amazon
Memory Crucial - Ballistix Sport LT 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory $81.29 @ Newegg
Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts
  Total $466.17
  Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-04-29 19:58 EDT-0400

However, if you're going to stick with the 1060 for a long time I would go with the i5 9400f, which sells for about $170.

Needs a CPU cooler, which would put it over OP's $500 budget.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600  Heatsink: ID-Cooling Frostflow X GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 Mini 6GB RAM: KLEVV Bolt 3600Mhz (2x8GB) Mobo: ASUS B550-F ROG Strix (Wifi)  Case: Fractal Design Meshify C PSU: Deepcool DQ-M-V2L

The Hyper 212 is like 20$. Also he said he had room in his budget.
